Applique is a very useful method to achieve large embroidery coverage without having to many stitches, as you can see from the images below. THE FABRIC IS THEN CUT TO SHAPE BY HAND
THE MACHINE THEN STITCHES ZIGZAG STITCH TO TACK THE FABRIC.
THE SHAPE IS THEN FINISHED WITH A SATIN STITCH
